THE PORT OF MTWARA HAS RECEIVED TWO MOBILE HARBOUR CRANES

Two mobile harbor cranes have arrived and been received at the Port of Mtwara in response to the order of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, to equip the port with modern equipment and machinery for more efficient cargo service.

port of MtwaraOn March 12, 2024, Comrade Nicodemus Mushi, the Relationship and Communication Manager, received the machines on behalf of the Director General of Tanzania Port Management Authority (TPA). He stated that the introduction of these machines in the Port of Mtwara would significantly improve its performance.

The Acting Port Manager, Mr. Dunstan Kazibure, stated on behalf of the Mtwara Port Manager that the speed of cargo service will increase and goals will be met promptly upon receipt of the machines from the Ports of Tanga and Dar es Salaam.
