The working visit of President Samia Suluhu Hassan to the southern regions of Tanzania, mainly Mtwara and Lindi, was positive for the people and also beneficial to her political career. Thus, from a pollical science perspective, it was a successful mini campaign that has already put her ahead of any future political rivals. She also had a good time with the people of Mtwara region while launching various important projects such as; health, water and roads, after the completion of major construction work started by her predecessor, the late John Pombe Joseph Magufuli (RIP).

Her excellency, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, also found comfort in completing the construction and opening of the Southern Regional Referral Hospital, a great relief for the region’s more than 4 million residents, will have access to modern health services.

This good, big and important work that is going on in various Districts and Regions in the country, and being an example for the countries of this region of our continent, is an achievement that every Tanzanian can be proud of.
